Looking Back

These pictures have been on our refridgerator since July 3, 2010.  Today, as I was holding Faith and we were looking at all the pictures on our refridgerator, her footprints just took my breath away.  It is so easy to get caught up in all the chaos and noise of life.  Seeing her footprints, just reminded me to have thanks in all things.  It reminded me of all God has done in her 22 months of life.  God is good even in all the hard.

God has really been healing my heart in all that I went through in Faith's birth.  All the memories and fears are still there, but they are a little easier to deal with and that I am thankful for.  My deepest prayer has been that God would use my experience with Faith and our NICU stay for His glory.  This has been my prayer for the last almost 2 years and continues to be my prayer.  Slowly but surely, He is starting to open some doors.  The first door opening is a new ministry at my church called With You in the NICU.  I just recently, met another mom at church who had a child who spent some time in the NICU and has started a business making NICU scrapbook pages!  Check her out here.  This same mom is heading up the ministry at our church.  Can't wait to see what He has next!

Stay Tuned...
